VALIDITY OF THE FOREIGN DRIVING LICENSE IN POLAND
Non-EU foreigners residing in Poland and holding a driving license issued by the authorities of their country of origin may use them for a period of 6 months from the date of commencing permanent or temporary residence in Poland, provided that the country which issued this driving license is a signatory to the Convention on road traffic signed in Geneva on 19 September 1949 or in Vienna on November 8, 1968. Before the end of this period, it should be exchanged to a Polish driving license. When collecting a Polish driving license, one must hand over a document issued by their country of origin, which is then handed over to the authorities of that country.
